
Professional Biography
Varudhini Reddy, MD is a graduate student at the University of Delaware’s Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics pursuing her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management. Varudhini believes that creativity and passion fuel healthcare innovation and scientific discovery. With over 15 years of research experience, she has actively engaged in cutting-edge research across multiple disciplines in biology and medicine at several esteemed academic institutions, contributing to several peer reviewed publications in leading medical journals. Varudhini is a medical graduate with post graduate training in family medicine, who has gained extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions. She supports equitable healthcare access and has received several awards for her humanitarian efforts and healthcare advocacy.
She holds a Doctor of Medicine from the Ross University School of Medicine, Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Biomedical Science from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Delaware.
Varudhini works with the American Medical Association and the American Medical Women’s association to mentor rising female doctors and serves as a policy writer and generator on global health topics affecting female physicians. Her dedication to healthcare extends beyond the hospital as she advocates for policies that promote equitable healthcare access in the community. Varudhini is passionate about preventive medicine and health education, striving to empower patients worldwide with the resources they need to lead healthier lives. Her journey is fueled by a commitment to making a meaningful impact on the healthcare system and improve the lives of others. Recognized for her exceptional communication skills and empathetic approach, she firmly believes in the power of collaboration to drive positive change in medicine. Outside of her professional endeavors, Varudhini enjoys dancing, blogging, and cooking and continues to inspire and support the next generation of healthcare professionals through her advocacy and mentorship.
